Friday, June 10: LETHBRIDGE ETSY CRAFT PARTY SCRAP MEET
Where: Parlour - 407 2nd Ave South from 7-9pm
Crafty people in Lethbridge are invited to come down to the Lethbridge contingent of Etsy's Global Craft Party to participate in this evening of crafty camaraderie!
Collective Craft Banner & Free Store: Bring your scrap material, yarn, paper, glue, scissors, crochet hooks or whatever you'd like to share & make your portion(s) of the banner out of! Each person can make one or more small flags that will be sewn onto a larger bunting banner! Have extra craft supplies you don't want anymore? Bring them for others to use!
"Last year, over 5,000 people participated in over 500 meetups from Dallas to Romania, and this year our goal is for over 15,000 people to share in the spirit of Craft Party"

Tuesday, June 14: YARN PICNIC RAIN OR SHINE!
Henderson Lake Picnic Shelter (North Side of lake Henderson Lake by the picnic shelter by the concession stand) from 6:30-10pm
Anyone who loves yarn is invited!! Knitters, crocheters, spinners, the yarn-curious, fiberistas and of course children are all welcome!
Bring your favorite snack or dish to share, your re-usable plates and utensils, a lawn chair or two (optional), and of course, your yarn!!!
Come meet other yarn-lovers, learn how to knit or crochet, and see how yarn is spun!

 Saturday, June 11 - June 18: KNITTING IN PUBLIC WEEK EVERYWHERE! ANYTIME!

World Wide Knit in Public Day was started in 2005 by Danielle Landes. It began as a way for knitters to come together and enjoy each others company. Knitting is such a solitary act that its easy to knit alone somewhere and sink into your work without thinking about all the other knitters out there. Neighbors could spend all their lives never knowing that the other knits. is a special day to get
out of your house and go to a local event (with your knitting in tow) just for you and people like you.
Who knows you might even bump into your neighbor! Consider this a spark, to ignite a fire getting all of the closeted knitters out into fresh air.
